5 erreurs à éviter lors de vos essayages de robe de mariée

5 mistakes to avoid during your wedding dress fittings

Trying on wedding dresses is a magical experience, but it can also be stressful. Here are the most common mistakes to avoid for a smooth and enjoyable fitting experience.

1. Coming unprepared

Arrive with a clear idea of your preferences: styles, fabrics, and cuts. Prepare a Pinterest board or photos of the designs you like to guide the consultant. Our catalog displays the names of the designs, so memorize or screenshot them to make your appointment more efficient.

2. Bringing too many people

Invite one or two people at most. Too many opinions can confuse you and make the experience frustrating. This is why we welcome you with a maximum of two guests during your fittings.

3. Ignoring your budget

Try only the dresses within your budget to avoid disappointment. At Maison Aman, rental prices range from €850 to €990, and purchase prices start at €2000.

4. Forgetting proper undergarments

Bring nude, seamless underwear. Our designs already include built-in cups, so a bra is not necessary.

5. Rushing or waiting too long

Too early: Your taste might change, and the chosen dress may no longer feel right. Visit multiple boutiques before deciding on a style or dress.

Too late: Ordering and tailoring a dress often requires a long lead time (6 to 9 months). At Maison Aman, custom-made dresses must be ordered at least 6 months in advance, and semi-tailored purchases require 2 months. For rentals, bookings open one year in advance, so your favorite design in your size might already be rented if you wait too long. The average lead time is typically 4 months for rentals.
